‘Get to know your Sewing Machine’
We cover general maintenance, tension, bobbin winding, needles, stitches & thread..
You will sew a few practise seams and run through your machines stitches and the tools and feet that came with it.
We will look at buttonholes and if time we’ll sew a zip!
A good option for anyone brand new, or those returning to sewing with a machine that’s been in a box for a while, or even someone who’s brought a newer machine but wants a quick run through on how it works.
A great precursor for starting the improvers classes, if you’re coming
You will need your sewing machine, its manual and the tools and attachments supplied with it -Don’t forget the pedal and power!
All sample fabric will be supplied
