Personalise the basic design to suit you, to express your creativity!

Bring a basic sewing kit:

  • Your Machine, It’s manual, pedal & power cord if separate

    (machines are available if you don’t have your own)

  • Sewing Kit: Tape measure, pins, thread snips, fabric scissors or a rotary cutter if preferred

  • Fabric requirements are listed on each sessions detail.

  • All garments require an overlocker to give a professional finish - these machines are here and available for use


HOODY-IN-A-HURRY!

This garment is mostly made using an overlocker.

Lots of ways to customise to your style:

  • Colourways- Alternative pocket/hood/sleeve and or cuff colours

  • Patch Pocket - Choose your shape

  • Length: to waist, to hip, over bum (additional fabric needed for below low waist)

You will need:

  • 2m Fabric -150cm/60” wide

  • Overlocking thread - this doesn’t have to match as is not seen.

  • Matching Gutterman Maraflex (elastic) thread -For topstitching (using one of my machines)

You will need:

  • 2.5m Fabric -150cm/60” wide- **woven fabrics only, but can be directional/have nap

  • Matching, or contrast thread - Recommend Gutterman, Coats Drima, or other similar quality

  • 40cm length of 1cm wide elastic

Flatteringly, over-sized dress with shaped empire seaming and pleat detail, in-seam pockets and puffed sleeves with elasticated edge.

Always scope for altering the dress to suit your style:

Choose your :

  • Neckline: Scooped, Round, Squared or Sweetheart

  • Overall Length - Above knee/skater, Mid/low Calf or Ankle?!

  • Sleeve Puff - a lot or a little?

  • Pockets - or No Pockets?

An elasticated back and drawstring front waist with increasing gathers on each tier. Gathers Galore!

Customise: (Be aware lots of cusomisation adds make-up time, so you may not finish)

  • Neckline - Slashed, Rounded, scooped

  • Sleeves - add length or folded facing

  • Length: floor length, ankle length…add/remove tiers

  • Tier length: Alter the depth of your tiers

  • Add in-seam pockets

You will need:

  • 2.5m Fabric -150cm/60” wide- **woven fabrics only, but can be directional/have nap

  • Matching, or contrast thread - Recommend Gutterman, Coats Drima, or other similar quality

  • Matching bias binding - approx 1m (depends on your chosen neckline and sleeve hem treatment)
