We will look at:
Your Machine, it’s workings and basic maintenance
Threading & Needles + Sizes & Changing
Winding & Inserting/changing a bobbin
Tension, stitch length /stitch selection
You will sew stitch samplers and a mini stitch library for future reference
Sample a few types of seam, and when to use them
Master topstitching and sew a patch pocket
Garment fastenings: Sew buttonholes, elastication & your first zip!
Tea, coffee & biccies provided, but please do bring your own packed lunch!
